Yes there are open source solutions which work great but can have some problems when it comes to support. You need to know where to look for support and that is not something that everyone can do. Freewares are great but there may be no support associated with them. Licensed solutions are perfect but you are not sure if it is really worth the money you pay. This is where sharewares become so useful.
As more and more people get used to working on computers and laptops, they find that there are some activities that really are draining too much time and having a quick fix solution could be great. Once you know the pattern you can see if that really matters to you, if not that would still be a great buy for you. While you are contemplating all this, it really would be nice if only you could try it for some time and then decide for yourself. Something like test driving the software before purchasing it.
